State Constitutions   

State Law Sources   American Law Sources Online provides a comprehensive, uniform, and useful compilation of links to freely accessible on-line sources of law for the United States and Canada, including additional links to sources of commentary and practice aids.

State Legal Materials-Cornell  Includes state constutitions, legislation, judiciary, regulations, and additional collection of state legal materials.

Natl. Assoc. Counties  The National Association of Counties (NACO) is the only national organization that represents county governments in the United States.  This site includes legislative updates, conferences, and county solutions.

 

Natl. Ctr. State Cts.   National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is the authoratitive source for court services directed by collaborative work with the Conference of Chief Justices, the Conference of State Court Administrators, and other associations of judicial leaders.  NSCS includes web resources as well well as hands-on assistance. 

Natl. Conf. State Legs.  The National Conference of State Legislatures is a bipartisan organization that provides research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues.  NCSL is an effective and respected advocate for the interests of state governments before Congress and federal agencies. 

Natl. Comm. Uniform State Laws   For more than a century, the Uniform Law Commission (ULC) has worked for the improvement of state laws by drafting uniform state laws on subjects where uniformity is desirable and practicable.  It is a non-profit unincorporated association, comprised of state commissions on uniform laws from each state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Natl. League Cities  The National League of Cities (NLC) is dedicated to helping city leaders build better communities, by serving as advocates in Washington, D.C., and providing programs and services that give local leaders the tools and knowledge to better serve their cities and towns.

Natl. Urban League  The National Urban League works to  provide economic empowerment, educational opportunities and the guarantee of civil rights for the underserved in America.
