Students, staff, and faculty can reserve the Seminar Room for two-hour time blocks. The Seminar Room is not available as a space for faculty office hours, or for classes to meet on a permanent basis.
The Seminar Room is for groups of five or more, and priority will be given for faculty use. The Seminar Room can be reserved for 2 hours per group per day.
This space is designated a Quiet Conversation Area.
The Seminar Room includes a 76-inch display that can also be used as a whiteboard. The room has a wireless keyboard and mouse connected to a PC that can be used with a UMKC login. You can also connect a laptop to the display using an HDMI connection.
The webcam can only be used with the in-room PC.
If the whiteboard (the display) is not on Mosaic already, use one of the stylus pens to select > in the lower left corner, then select the home icon. Select MosaicCanvas to use the display as a traditional whiteboard. MosaicConnect and Files are not available.
If you need to save content from the Mosaic whiteboard, you will need to save it to a USB thumb drive that you can plug into the lower right corner of the display.
