UMKC Libraries Digital Scholarship Services department provides programming, resource guides, and consulting services that support digital research and pedagogy for the UMKC scholarly community. We also operate the Digital Collaboration Studio, a technology-rich space designed to support research and teaching across all disciplines.

Digital Collaboration Studio

The Digital Collaboration Studio (DCS) is located on the third floor of the Miller Nichols Library and is open 10am-9pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-6pm on Friday. The DCS is closed on weekends. During intersession, the DCS is open 10am-6pm Monday-Thursday and 10am-4pm on Friday. See all library hours.

The DCS includes an open collaboration area with mobile furniture and high-definition monitors, a seminar room with video conferencing capability and digital whiteboard, small collaboration rooms with high-definition monitors, and a one-touch audio and video recording studio for oral histories and podcasts. The Studio is designed to support research and education in all disciplines with a focus on the Digital and Public Humanities.
