Creative Media Lab

UMKC University Libraries Digital Collaboration Studio logo

The Creative Media Lab is a suite of equipment intended for digital projects and content creation available for all UMKC faculty, staff, and students. Aiming to provide UMKC patrons with access to high-quality equipment for media creation, the Creative Media Lab is focused on photography, videography, and audio creation. This suite of equipment is continually evolving to include more state-of-the-art tools.

Digital Scholarship Services staff are trained to assist patrons with reserving and checking out technology in the Creative Media Lab, but cannot assist patrons with more than basic use. Below are the equipment user manuals as well as blog posts, and video tutorials for further assistance, but we encourage patrons to do their research before, during, and after use of their equipment kit.
