IBISWorld's Trade Tariff Exposure Tool can help you assess the impacts of tariffs, monitor policy changes, and evaluate risks to your supply chain or market access.
1. To access this tool, begin by clicking on IBISWorld within our list of Databases.
2. Within IBISWorld, choose "Products," and then select the "Trade Tariff Exposure Tool."
3. You will need to download an Excel file of the latest version of the Trade Tariff Exposure Tool.
(Note - You may need to "enable macros" within the Excel file to use the tool.)
4. You will now have access to the information within the tabs at the bottom of the Excel file. For example, in the "Tariff Exposure" tab, you will be able to view different tariff codes and rates by sector and sub-sector.
Country Reports within the ABI/INFORM database are comprehensive analytical documents that serve several key purposes for business professionals, researchers, students, and decision-makers. The reports typically include economic indicators, political analysis, regulatory environment assessments, market forecasts, and sectoral analysis, making them valuable resources for anyone needing comprehensive country-level business intelligence. If you are interested in researching a particular country, you can follow the steps outlined below to study the Country Reports that we have access to at UMKC.
1. From the main library website, choose “Databases,” and then “ABI/INFORM.”

2. Within ABI/INFORM, choose “Publications” from the left dropdown menu.

3. Change the search parameter to “Title begins with…”

4. Enter “Country report” in the search bar and press enter (or click search). You now have a list of the 79 country reports to which we have access!

Business Source Premier, which is available through our Databases link, has launched a new interface.

The benefit of this new profile is that it surfaces some of the unique features that Business Source Premier offers to users. Near the top of the page, you can see that the interface is searching five (5) different databases: Business Source Premier, the eBook Collection, EconLit with Full Text, Newswires, and Regional Business News. You can deselect any of these resources by clicking on the “Searching” link.
