Here are some step-by-step instructions for gaining access to Honors College theses.
1. Go to MOspace!
2. Click on the "University of Missouri-Kansas City" link under "Communities in MOspace"
3. Click on the "Honors College (UMKC)" link under the "Sub-communities within this community"
4. Click on the "Honors College Scholars (UMKC)" link under the "Sub-communities within this community"
5. Click on the "Honors College Theses - Restricted to UMKC Access (UMKC)" link under "Collections in this community"
6. This page lists the various Honors College Theses. Many of them are restricted access. If you click on one of these, you will see a page that looks like this:
7. Click on the "Proceed to login" link
8. Click on the "Shibboleth Authentication (for UM students, staff, and faculty)" link
9. Log in using your single-sign on credentials (how you access UMKC computing resources like the IS lab or from off-campus)
10. After logging in, the system will display the MOspace homepage.
11. Click the "Back" function on your web browser THREE (3) TIMES.
12. Click the "Refresh" function on your web browser ONCE.
13. The title and abstract page for the selected Honors College Thesis will display, along with a link to the PDF of the resource.
14. View the resource (didn't want to end on 13 steps!) :-)
