Quality Improvement Projects

A guide to help through the process of creating a Quality Improvement Project.

Vijay Babu Rayudu Quality & Patient Safety Day

The UMKC School of Medicine is a leader in preparation of physicians for the future practice of medicine. The annual Vijay Babu Rayudu Quality and Patient Safety Day provides an opportunity for students, residents, and fellows to present their work in quality improvement and patient safety to the entire medical school community.

Each May, students, residents and fellows in the School of Medicine, School of Dentistry and School of Pharmacy are invited to submit abstracts of quality improvement and patient safety projects for presentation.  Abstracts are judged by a faculty committee with a few top abstracts selected for oral presentation and the remainder for poster presentation.
