The UMKC Social Justice Lecture Series began in 2007 and is sponsored by the UMKC Division of Diversity and Inclusion. Each year during the Fall academic term, an author is invited to campus to speak about their book covering a particular aspect of social justice. UMKC Libraries hosts a book discussion in conjunction with the Social Justice Lecture.
