The mission of the OVW within the U.S. Department of Justice, is to provide federal leadership in developing the national capacity to reduce violence against women and administer justice for and strengthen services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

FUTURES provides groundbreaking programs, policies, and campaigns that empower individuals and organizations working to end violence against women and children around the world.

We work to stop domestic violence today one family at a time, using proven counseling and advocacy programs. In partnership with other organizations DAP is leading the charge to build better systems that will prevent domestic abuse.

Our mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals on local, national and international levels by sharing & disseminating vital information, improving collaborations & networking, conducting research & trainings, assisting with direct professional services, program evaluation, & consulting to promote violence-free living.

Love Is Respect is the ultimate resource to empower youth to prevent and end dating abuse. It is a project of Break the Cycle and the National Domestic Violence Hotline.

The KCSDV is Kansas’s leading voice on sexual and domestic violence. KCSDV enhances response and prevention efforts through training, public policy advocacy, public awareness programs, accreditation of programs, and support to professionals and local crisis centers.

SAFEHOME provides a healing atmosphere where survivors of domestic violence can gain inner strength, build self-esteem, explore options, and establish a life free of violence. Through SAFEHOME’s shelter and community services, approximately 7,500 individuals each year receive the support they need to lead healthy, independent lives.

The mission of the DCF is to protect children, promote healthy families and encourage personal responsibility.

The Willow Domestic Violence Center fields upwards of 2,700 crisis calls and referral calls per year, houses 250-300 adults and children annually, and serves over 1,700 Kansans throughout Douglas, Franklin, and Jefferson Counties

Rose Brooks Center provides emergency shelter to women and children escaping life-threatening abuse. Once they are safe, these families receive the tools and resources they need to begin rebuilding their life – a life built on respect, love and compassion.

Hope House services form a safety net of prevention, education and support for thousands of people traumatized by domestic violence every year. Residential services are provided through two secure locations in Independence and Lee’s Summit, Missouri and comprehensive outreach services are provided to those not needing secure shelter.

MOCSA exists to improve the lives of those impacted by sexual abuse and sexual assault and prevent sexual violence in our community. MOCSA offers therapy, support and advocacy for victims of rape and sexual assault, for sexually abused children and families, for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, and for others touched by sexual violence. Through the years MOCSA has enhanced and increased outreach, prevention and education programs focused on children, youth, professionals and community groups.
