Print Materials

On Reserve

The law library has print study aids in a variety of subject areas available on reserve. These study aids can be checked out for two-hour periods. To access these materials, visit the service desk on the first floor of the law library.

General Collection

The law library also has many older editions of study aids in the collection. These materials are still useful for studying and working problems, but students should be sure to confirm whether the law explained in the materials are current. These study aids, located on the ground floor of the law library, can be checked out and taken home.

Digital Materials

The law library provides access to electronic study aids through West Academic and Lexis Digital Library (not to be confused with Westlaw or Lexis). You can access study aids within these databases at any time!

West Academic Study Aids Collection | Series Guide

West Academic provides online access to a wide range of popular study aids, including Nutshells, Black Letter Outlines, and the Exam Pro series. The digital platform allows students to read titles online or download them for offline use through the West Academic app. Features include highlighting, note-taking, audio options for select titles, and personal bookshelf organization. Users must create a free account using their law school email address to take advantage of personalization tools and offline access.

                        Lexis Digital Library LexisNexis

The Lexis Digital Library offers access to study aids such as the Understanding series and Questions & Answers series. These resources can be read in a web browser or downloaded using the Lexis Digital Library app. Users can highlight, annotate, and bookmark content. You must use your law school credentials (SSO) to access this platform. For some materials, borrowing periods may apply, as the digital library functions similarly to a traditional library with limited simultaneous users per title.
