ClassSpot/TeamSpot

Guide Using TideBreak's Class and TeamSpot Technologies in the Law Library Tech Classroom.

General Information

This site contains information on special technologies used in the Law Library's Courtney Turner Trust Collaborative Instruction and Technology Classroom located in the bottom floor of the law school in the Tom and Vina Hyde Collaborative Instruction Technology Library, dedicated in fall of 2011.  See the Spring Issue of Res Ipsa 2012, p. 9-11.

The special technologies are called TeamSpot and ClassSpot and are produced by Tidebreak. These technologies permit students to share their monitor space with each other in group settings, with multiple students having access at the same time.  The technologies also allow individual students and groups of students to share the teacher's projected display at the front of the class.  Finally, the technology permits students to share their own laptop monitors with groups, other students individually or with the teacher and class as a whole.
