Welcome to Miller Nichols Library (MNL)! This guide is designed to help international students find UMKC University Libraries' resources and services. If you need more help, you are very welcome to contact me (see my profile - on the right).

Two years ago, the MNL added a new addition to itself called the "RooBot," which is actually a condensed storage and retrieval system like in a big warehouse. It is used to hold books, journals, music records, microfilms, special collections, etc. The library is still loading its collections into the Roobot system. For more information, please kindly check

For help with library terminology, please see the Multilingual Library Glossary from the Association of College & Research Libraries.

Thank you very much for visiting this guide.
