Finding Materials on Reserve

Sometimes your professor will put something on reserve for your class.  To find out if the materials are available:

  1. Visit the Libraries' Catalog Course Reserves Page (or click on the "Course Reserves" tab on the catalog's homepage).
  2. Enter either the course name or your instructor's last name.
  3. Click the Search button.
  4. Select your course from the list of search results.
  5. This will bring up a list of all materials on reserve for that course - look in the Call Number box to see if the material is available (it will say NOT CHECKED OUT if it is available).
  6. You can check out an available item at the Access Services desk at the appropriate library.  They will let you know how long the item circulates for and whether you can take it from the library.

If you are unable to locate the material you need, it is possible that it is on Electronic Reserve.  If you still can't find the material you need, contact either your professor or the libraries.
