CONSVTY 5593: Introduction to Research and Bibliography in Music

Library Catalog

Use the library homepage search to find books, scores, recordings, and more at the University of Missouri Libraries (Columbia, Kansas City, Rolla, and St. Louis campuses).

Top library catalog searching tricks:

  • Use a KEYWORD search to quickly find many scores and sound recordings. Search for the original language title of the work (e.g., "Barbiere di Siviglia") or for the genre in the plural form plus an opus or work number (e.g., a keyword search for "symphonies and 550").
  • Use the ADVANCED search for the most precise search.
  • Use MODIFY SEARCH to focus your search and save time. For example, limit a search to just scores, sound recordings, CDs, DVDs, etc., or to a specific performer or composer.

Beyond UMKC Library
